Apollo is a Blue Heeler with a lust for life! He enjoys nothing more than playing fetch with his ball,Tug of War with his Rope,Or receiving scritches along his back. The Humane Society found him as a stray 7 years ago,And we adopted him after 3 days of being in the shelter. He has anxiety when meeting new people or pets (or hearing knocking!),But with a treat and 5 minutes, he'll be begging you to throw his toy as his new best friend. He generally tolerates other pets, but resource-guards his food and toys.He has leash/fench-aggression when he's on a leash and sees another dog,But once the other dog is on the same side of the fence as him, he no longer has problems with them. We've recently moved to a smaller house, and no longer have a yard for him to play in,Which has caused him to be more aggressive towards our cats. We're hoping to find someone with a big yard, or with a lot of kids that are able to pay attention to him and give him the play time he deserves.
