Meet beautiful Laya! She has a bit of a sad story. She chewed through her cable tie and ran away and ended up at a house on Bevil Loop. They called us and when we got there we saw she had a collar with a tag on it. We called the number on the tag and it ended up belonging to the girl who had rehomed her to a new family. She called them to tell them she was at the shelter and they said they would go get her and never showed up! So so sad. .Laya is a very playful and energetic young lady! She loves to run, run, run! She is treat motivated and learns quickly. (She already new the "sit" command when she came in). She loves people and seems to do ok with other dogs with a proper introduction. The adoption fee is $130 and includes: parvo/distemper vaccination, rabies vaccination, microchip, heartworm test, deworming and spay/neuter surgery.
