Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Chelsea, AL Meet Dorothy Mae! She is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 51 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Dorothy Mae is great with kids, cats, and dogs! She tested positive for heartworms and started the slow kill protocol. She is given heartgard for her heartworm. She was originally found running in a rural area and was never claimed. The current owner is surrendering her because they already have other dogs. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Dorothy Mae, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions.
