Nurf is a goofy and playful young terrier/beagle mix ready to exceed his family’s expectations this school year and beyond. Nurf’s favorite subject is PE where he can show off his athletic prowess running circles around everyone, chasing the ball, and playing tug of war with humans or canines. He regularly nominates himself captain, greeting any new kids or adults with excitement and a smile. When the bell rings and it’s time to head back inside, Nurf is happy to snuggle up to his human to learn about business, economics, reading, math, or whatever subject his human is studying. Nurf clicks with canines of any size, large or small, and would thrive in a home with his peers. He would likely try to recruit cats for a game of chase, so he should not go to a home with felines. Nurf has not yet met young children, but his foster believes due to his friendly and playful nature there could be great chemistry. Nurf has no trouble with public speaking when he gets excited or wants to get his human’s attention, so he should not go to a home with shared walls. Nurf’s foster family would bestow him with the title of Mr. Congeniality as a friendly, kind, and personable pup. His ideal home would be an active one where he can get his zoomies out, a patient one to work with him as he continues to learn manners, and a loving one ready to incorporate him into their lives.
